It goes inside an original Yaesu FNB 17 battery pack casing. This is a value priced option for rejuvenating those old expired battery packs. Disassembly of the original pack & soldering in of the new insert is required. This battery insert goes inside casings that fit the FT 411, FT 470. FT 23R, FT 73R, etc. The FNB 17i isert is a great option if you enjoy building & working on things.
